"Power" Songs, Vol. 1

Here's a bunch of great songs with the word  "Power" in their titles. Because sometimes power is a good thing, right? Of course, sometimes it is WAY NOT a good thing. A lot depends on who's wielding it. There's more of these coming, by the way. Enjoy!  ~  JH

14)  Laura Branigan ~  "The Power Of Love"  (When you hear this song, you  might be thinking, "Isn't this the same song as #9 above?" And it is, but Branigan belts it out with more soul than Jennifer Rush and maybe even more power than Celine Dion [#25 below], so all three versions are present and accounted for here. For the record, Branigan released her version 3 years after Rush but 6 years before Dion.)

15)  Gabrielle Aplin  ~  "The Power Of Love"  (No, this is not the same song as the other "Power of Love" versions, but it's a fantastic tune in its own right.)

16)  Kari Jobe  ~  "Oh The Power"

24)  BeyoncĂ© ft. Nija, Busiswa, Yemi Alade, Tierra Whack, Moonchild Sanelly, & DJ Lag  ~  "My Power"

25)  Celine Dion  ~  "The Power Of Love"  (This is the more popular, better-known version of Jennifer Rush's song [#9 above], but Rush recorded it nine years earlier – and to great success worldwide, I might add.)
