Popular Songs Of 1975, Vol. 1

The fact that I am very familiar with most of the songs in this collection (and its follow-up post) has more to do with my affinity for a broad spectrum of music from all genres, styles, and eras than it does with my actual age. You see, we've now reached the point in music history that precedes my birth (by three years, but still...). If you remember when these songs first came out, that means you are at least in your mid-forties now, and probably even older since these songs themselves are forty years old. So sit back and relax, groove to some funky tunes, and laugh at the outrageous clothing and pervasive facial hair of the artists involved. Welcome to That '70s Post...  ~  JH

Same Name, Different Song: Vol. 5

If you're onto my game, this is more of the same. If you don't know the score, let me show you what for. These songs right here share a title, you see? But the songs are all different, it's plain as can be. This is part 5 – see, I've done 4 before these. And before this week's over, I may do even more these. Okay, so that last rhyme was forced if not absent. But let's not harp on that, 'cuz you know what I meant. I hope you'll enjoy these – I can't always tell. I like 'em, so even if you don't, oh well!  ~  JH
