These songs are ON FIRE! Well, at the very least they’re “flaming.” Which could mean that they’re engulfed in flames, are bright orange or red in color, or are extraordinarily passionate about something. Some of the songs are simply about flames, whether of the hot and burning kind or of the metaphorical romantic kind. One of them is about Cheetos. Still More Weird Christmas Songs, Vol. 1

For the past several years, I've been accumulating playlists full of the most wonderfully weird Christmas-themed songs that have somehow made their way into recordings. While I've certainly found dozens of gems prior to now, I've never searched as high and low as I did this year seeking oddball holiday songs previously unknown to me. “Heart” & “Soul” Songs, Vol. 1

I recently got in my head that it'd be a brilliant idea to post songs with the words "Heart" and/or "Soul" in their titles. And it was. But there were SO MANY good songs to choose from, and this thing quickly ballooned from a probable two-parter, to maybe a three-parter, but definitely no more than a four-parter. Yeah, right! This series is going to be six posts in total, with 30 songs each time!
