"Naked" Songs

Merriam-Webster provides a wide variety of definitions for the word "naked." The most common meaning is "not covered by clothing." However, "naked" can also mean "lacking embellishment," "unarmed [or] defenseless," "devoid of concealment or disguise," as well as "unaided by any optical device or instrument." These secondary definitions of "naked" abound in the lyrics of these songs. Indeed, despite its title, this post is about as "PG" as it gets. Sorry to disappoint some of you. And I'm glad I didn't let the rest of you down. Enjoy?  ~  JH

Songs With "Lead" In The Title

So here's the first part of a two-part "Opposites" music post I've put together – yes, I'm still doing those, and no, I'll probably never stop. First up, a group of songs with "Lead" in the title. Next time, I'll feature songs with "Follow" in the title. Due to the fact that the word "Lead" is involved here, it shouldn't be that big a surprise that a disproportionately large number of Christian songs will be included within. So know that going into it, if that's something that matters to you. But please understand that I don't like to limit myself to a certain style or genre in these posts – so not ALL of the songs included here are Christian. Enjoy!  ~  JH

1)  Sanctus Real  ~  "Lead Me"

2)  Taylor Dayne  ~  "Love Will Lead You Back"

3)  Hoobastank  ~  "Born To Lead"

4)  Jamie Grace  ~  "You Lead"

5)  Proximity  ~  "Lead By Example"

6)  Spice Girls  ~  "Let Love Lead The Way"

7)  Chris and Conrad  ~  "Lead Me To The Cross"

8)  Roses Unread  ~  "Blind Lead The Blind"

9)  Jamie N Commons  ~  Lead Me Home"

10)  Amy Grant  ~  "Lead Me On"

11)  No Other Name  ~  "Lead You To The Cross"

12)  Carlos Jean ft. Electric Nana  ~  "Lead The Way"

13)  Silent Season  ~  "If You Lead Me On"

14)  Conway Twitty & Loretta Lynn  ~  "Lead Me On"

15)  Jeff Schneeweis  ~  "Follow As You Lead"
