Popular Songs Of 1990, Vol. 6

I promised I wouldn't overdo these "Popular Songs" posts this time around. Due to the fact that we're at Vol. 6 of this particular year (not the mention the excessive number of songs in this one), I think I may have gone back on my word somewhat. But I promise this is the last set of songs from a most momentous year for music. If I delved any deeper than this, the songs would be mediocre at best, and you deserve better than that. Popular Songs Of 1990, Vol. 2

1990 was an interesting year for music. Much of what was popular that year sounded similar to music that had been popular the previous 4 or 5 years – in other words, like '80s music. But new sounds were emerging as well, like New Jack swing and rock/rap hybrids, to name a few. In addition, some megastars like Garth and Mariah were just coming onto the scene, hinting at their future greatness. Here's more music from this most interesting year for you to enjoy!  ~  JH

1)  Sinead O'Connor  ~  "Nothing Compares 2 U"

2)  Phil Collins  ~  "Do You Remember"

3)  INXS  ~  "Disappear"

4)  K.T. Oslin  ~  "Come Next Monday"

5)  Glenn Medeiros ft. Bobby Brown  ~  "She Ain't Worth It"

6)  Bell Biv DeVoe  ~  "Poison"  ("Never trust a big butt and a smile!" 😂)

7)  Mariah Carey  ~  "Love Takes Time"

8)  Faith No More  ~  "Epic"

9)  Michael Bolton  ~  "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You?"

10)  Jane Child  ~  "Don't Wanna Fall In Love"

11)  Elton John  ~  "Sacrifice"

12)  Garth Brooks  ~  "The Dance"

13)  Janet Jackson  ~  "Escapade"

14)  Aerosmith  ~  "What It Takes"

15)  Ricky Van Shelton  ~  "I Meant Every Word He Said"

24)  Damn Yankees  ~  "High Enough"
