"32" Songs

As of today, my wife is 32 weeks pregnant with our daughter. So here's a collection of songs with the number "32" (or "Thirty-Two") in their titles or somewhere in their lyrics. I've finally reached the point where I can no longer find enough suitable songs to match the number of weeks, and that's okay. That I made it this far is pretty amazing, if I do say so myself. Enjoy!  ~  JH

1)  Alana Davis  ~  "32 Flavors"  (An absolutely superb cover of Ani DiFranco's hit song.)

2)  Genesis  ~  "The Chamber Of 32 Doors"

A Rigorous Retrospective Of Remarkable Reggae Songs, Vol. 1

Recently, I found myself craving some island flavor. And the best way I could figure to do that would be to listen to some good reggae music. I also noticed an appalling lack of representation of the genre on this blog over the past...well, forever, actually. So I enlisted the help of my friend Eric Murphy, a diehard reggae fan, to pick some of his favorite tunes/artists (all of which are included in this set), and added a lot more on my own that I liked and/or discovered along the way. The result is a 50-song collection (split up into two posts) of smooth jams that I had lots of fun compiling. I hope you'll enjoy them, too!  ~  JH

14)  Johnny Clarke  ~  "Warrior"

15)  Bob Marley  ~  "No Woman, No Cry"
