Some literature is so iconic that notable phrases, character names, or even book titles can become a part of our culture. Over the next who-knows-how-many days, weeks, etc., I'm going to explore some of these iconic novels, stories, and/or phrases and make song posts out of them. Why? Because it seemed like a good idea at the time. (Which would be right now, I suppose.) First up, "Lolita." For what it's worth, I've never read Nabokov's novel, and what little I know of it is merely by its reputation, which is admittedly a mixed bag depending on whom you ask. Enjoy? ~ JH
